30 April is our town’s birthday!
Szentes’s 4-day City Days event is centred around this date, where we commemorate our traditions and customs. The April date is linked to many stories and historical events in Szentes. At this time “Free Szentes” is celebrated, paying tribute to our forebears and showing the way for future generations. There is a colourful programme of events, including a puppet theatre and children’s shows, whilst concerts and parties also add to the lively atmosphere. Naturally, everyone who loves Szentes, or simply wishes to get to know it, is warmly welcome.
