The Szentes Gallery opened its doors to the public in 1974 with an exhibition of artists from Szentes and those who had moved away from the town. It is one of Hungary’s exhibition spaces built specifically for this purpose, so its lighting and layout are ideally suited to showcasing works of fine art. Eleven exhibitions are held each year, all of which are of a high standard and attract national interest.
