Built in 1905 and renovated in 1997, the Fridrich Photography Museum (the museum’s industrial history exhibition space) is the country’s only rural photo museum. The building, which is a significant feature of the townscape, houses photographs, equipment, tools and instruments belonging to János Fridrich and his daughters, as well as other photographers from Szentes. The museum’s local history photo archive and postcard collection are also housed here. The collection of specialist literature on photography and art history is significant, supplemented by various photo albums.
